Hi, my name is Amy Barnett and this blog was created for the purpose of uploading the completed projects from my digital media class. While I'm still rather nervous about the concept of a graded art class, I really enjoyed the atmosphere created on the first day and I'm excited to see what the rest of the class holds. I hope this class aides to strengthen my own skills in art and visual design, as well as help decide if the digital arts program is right for me. I'm also hoping this class can help me decide what kind of career path I'll want to head down since, at the time being, I actually have no idea what to do with my life.

As mentioned earlier, my name is Amy. I spend most of my time drawing or playing video games, and don't really have a life of my own. I've been drawing for around 8 years and run my own web comic on deviant art. It's not very popular, but it's the thought that counts. If art doesn't work out as a full time career option, I'm also considering a degree in forensics, english, or becoming a comedian, despite not being funny or charming. (not that that's stopped most of them) I also have a really hard time coming up with personal traits to talk about.

I'm looking forward to my first year at University of Tampa and hope to pool as much work as I possibly can into my classes.
